HB127 — Overtime Eligibility: Newspapers
Current Alaska law exempts employees working on weekly, semiweekly, or daily newspapers with circulation under 1,000 from overtime pay rules. This bill would change that threshold to under 4,000. More workers at slightly larger small newspapers would then qualify for the exemption. Small newspapers
